FREEMAN, Elsie (nee Bremner) R.N.

Elsie peacefully with her loving family by her side on Sun. Aug. 10, 2008 at Leamington District Memorial Hospital. Late of Kingsville Court.

Beloved wife of the late David W. Freeman (1980) and the late Morice Marlatt (1957). Cherished friend of the late Patrick O’Heron (2007). Loving mother of Judith Calhoun and husband Bernard, Essex and the late Paul Marlatt (2005) and step mother to David Freeman and wife Dianne, Wasaga Beach. Dearest grandmother of Holly O’Neil and husband Scott, David Bennett and wife Julia, Leslie Calhoun and partner Alan Down, Gregory Freeman and 8 great grandchildren. Dear sister-in-law of Marion Bremner, Brantford. Elsie was predeceased by her late parents George & Eva Bremner and brothers Hugh, Glen and Robert Bremner.

Elsie was a graduate of Brantford General Hospital, School of Nursing in 1941.

Visiting at the Reid Funeral Home & Reception Centre, 87 Maidstone Avenue East, Essex (519-776-4233) on Tuesday 7-9 pm. Funeral Service to celebrate Elsie’s life will be held from the funeral home on Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at 11 am. A private family interment will take place in Simcoe, Ontario.

Memorial Donations made to Canadian Cancer Society, Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Salvation Army would be appreciated.
